Responsibilities:
The Program Manager for the Institute for Experiential Robotics will work with Institute Director and the Director of Administration and Finance. The position provides grant and finance management, prioritize activities and communications, marketing and space management within Institute space. Initiates professional communication on behalf of the Institute Director, Director of Administration and Finance. Provides leadership and guidance with matters regarding financial and budgetary activities. Advises the Institute Director and work with Director of Administration and Finance on budget procedures, available funding, college policies and procedures, financial reporting and training on purchasing.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration with a minimum five years of project management experience. Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and direct others; experience leading teams, multi-functional communication, time and scope management, and coordinating needs. At least five years' experience in financial and operations management is required to include supervisory experience, preferably in research active academic setting. Significant budgeting and quantitative analytical experience. Outstanding organizational skills demonstrated computer literacy with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new approaches/programs. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at once work independently and handle confidential information. Experience with budget review, forecasting and monitoring, as well as experience with program evaluation and quality improvement/organizational improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well with faculty, staff and students. Demonstrated ability to work with a broad range of clients and stakeholders in a customer-focused environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative methods toward tackling technological and financial challenges. Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision, creatively solve problems with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good judgment under pressure, while negotiating competing and often time-sensitive priorities from multiple constituents in a varied and sometimes demanding office environment. Excel at meeting deadlines and following through on projects. Ideal candidates will be high performing professionals with a can-do attitude and team spirit—they will be self-starters who enjoy providing administrative support to dynamic and complex groups of faculty, students, and staff. Must be flexible, enthusiastic, open to and energized by change.
