Position Summary
This postdoctoral position will provide training experience in a multidisciplinary research team. The Postdoctoral Associate will be supervised by Dr. Mark Hicar, UB Department of Pediatrics.
In this postdoctoral position you will:
• Work on Dr. Hicar’s research projects
• Work on new independent research analyzing data from samples of COVID -19 infected and Kawasaki disease samples.
• Through this analysis, you will design other experiments that will lead to independent lines of investigation.
It is common to work more on ongoing projects in the beginning of the postdoctoral experience while transitioning to become an independent investigator, which is the goal for the Postdoctoral Associate.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. background in B cell development. Strong research skills, skilled in data analysis, evidence of first-author peer-reviewed publications, and flexible working schedule.
