The Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for an Assistant Professor (tenure track) position in the areas of Epistemology, Philosophy of Science, Moral and Political Philosophy, Ancient Philosophy, Post-Kantian Continental Philosophy, or Twentieth-Century Analytic Philosophy with an expected start date of July 1, 2021.

Job responsibilities include teaching 4 courses/year at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and conducting thesis supervision. Area of Specialization: Epistemology, Philosophy of Science, Moral and Political Philosophy, Ancient Philosophy, Post-Kantian Continental Philosophy, or Twentieth-Century Analytic Philosophy.

Minimum Basic Qualifications: PhD (or equivalent international degree), or enrolled in PhD or equivalent international degree-granting program at the time of application.

Preferred Qualifications: PhD (or equivalent international degree) by the start date of the position.
