JOB SUMMARY:
The Environmental Studies and Sciences program at Adelphi University invites applications for a part-time instructor for graduate-level courses beginning January 2021. We seek applicants who have completed or are working toward a Ph.D. in physics, engineering, environmental studies or an equivalent field with relevant teaching, research or industry expertise to teach graduate and undergraduate students in green energy or sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The candidate will teach a completely online graduate course in Green Energy Management for Spring 2021.
2. Future courses include Renewable Energy or Green Energy Conservation with online or in person options available.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Applicants should have demonstrated research and teaching expertise in the field of green energy.
2. A Ph.D. in physics, engineering, environmental studies, earth science, or relevant field is required at the time of appointment.
3. Experience with GIS, environmental consultation, regulation, or policies are preferred.
