Cornell College invites applications for a clinic coordinator in student health services. This is a full-time, 9-month position. This position in the Student Health Center and the Counseling Center is responsible for front office management (reception, clerical, student employee supervision, and billing) and managing the day to day scheduling of Health Center and Counseling Center appointments. The clinic coordinator also makes referral appointments as directed, obtains patient consents for transferring records, and faxes records.  The clinic coordinator is also in charge of maintaining medical records and assisting with counseling records. This includes the supervision of incoming health records, preparing new counseling files, maintaining the security of current records, putting immunizations into the immunization database, putting client data into the counseling database, and purging outdated files.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Associates degree or equivalent preferred.  One to three years of experience in an educational or ambulatory care setting is preferred.  Must have competency in Word, Excel, and Publisher. 

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are required.

Ability to set priorities and organize work.  Ability to perform fine finger movements, hear and see.
