Position Summary:
Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to start in August 2021.

We seek a candidate whose expertise and scholarship is closely relevant to diversity, multicultural issues, and/or social justice.

Demonstrated success or evidence of potential to excel in teaching and advising undergraduates is essential, as is ongoing scholarly productivity and institutional service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Psychology of Gender and our Psychology, Culture, and Ethnicity course, as well as be prepared to teach research methods, introductory psychology, our senior capstone course, and other courses consistent with departmental needs and candidate interests. Standard three-course load per semester.

The Department of Psychology strongly values faculty-student collaborative research and mentoring of students for practica, internships, and admission to graduate programs.


Required Qualifications:
An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in psychology is required.
