Assistant Professor of Marketing

The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business, Penn State (University Park, PA), seeks to fill one tenure-track faculty position beginning in fall 2021 at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants should have the potential to develop and publish high quality scholarly research and an ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Preference will be given to an individual in the Quantitative / Modeling area of Marketing. A Ph.D. (granted or near completion) in Marketing or a related discipline is required no later than the position start date. Penn State faculty members are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in service activities. All employees must pass a background check. Candidates should apply through the online portal and include a cover letter, CV, three letters of recommendation and two writing samples.
