Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Computer Science at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning in August 2021.

Candidates for this position are required to have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field by the time of appointment and all areas of specialty will be considered. Candidates must also have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and a desire to shape the computer science curriculum. Duties for this position include leading the development a new minor in computer science and teaching three courses per semester at all levels of the undergraduate computer science curriculum.

The department currently offers majors and minors in mathematics and applied mathematics. With approximately 20-25 majors graduating per year, there is active student involvement in the applied mathematics club, baseball analytics club, problem solving seminar, colloquium series, and honor society. Building on strong student interest in programming and computer science, the department is expanding to include a computer science faculty member and a minor in computer science.

Hillsdale College, founded in 1844, is an independent, coeducational, four-year liberal arts college of 1,450 students.
