Responsibilities: Northern State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Educational Technology. Responsibilities include teaching both face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses in a learner-centered environment, student teaching supervision, academic advisement, scholarly activity, and service to the university and community, particularly in relation to integrating technology solutions into the P-12 learning environment.

 

Qualifications: Applicants with an earned doctorate in Education, Instructional Design, or Educational Technology are preferred; however, ABDs who will complete their degree before the date of appointment will be considered. The candidate should be able to teach in the areas of Digital Learning; Web Site and Multimedia Design; and Distance Education; as well as be able to teach foundational education courses for elementary and secondary education.  Familiarity with the latest digital learning tools and classroom technologies is required.
