Job Summary/Basic Function
SUNY Canton, Career Ready Education and Success Training Center ( CREST ) invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor/Coordinator for a 5-week training program in Solar Photovoltaics for the Solar Ready Vets Program at Fort Drum, N.Y.
Job Requirements & Essential Functions of the Job
The successful candidate will teach Solar and Electrical basics to transitioning soldiers during the 5-week training program. The program is held 3 times per year. This roll coordinates other professional instructor’s participation in the program, foster relations within the Solar Industry to encourage companies to present to and hire soldiers in the program for opening with their organizations. Marketing and recruiting soldiers for participating in the training program is also the responsibility of the incumbent. This position is 40 hours per week during the 5-week training program and approximately 12 hours per week in between cohorts.
