Doane University College of Arts and Science invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach Web Design for graphic design majors this spring semester. This course will be taught Thursday evenings from 6-9 pm, beginning January 18, 2020, and ending May 13, 2020.
Course Description:
This course introduces students to the principles, methods, and applications of web design. Students will learn to code using HTML and CSS, with the primary focus of designing content-driven layouts for usability, interactivity and navigation. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to layout, code, and maintain a website.
The duties associated with the teaching assignment include:

Developing a class syllabus
Preparation of lectures
Presenting instruction based on the
competencies and performance levels of the course
Meeting all designated class periods.
Submitting completed final grades according to University
regulations
Grading student assignments and exams
in a timely manner
Providing department forms for
student evaluations
B.A., B.S., or B.F.A. required, M.A. or M.F.A. preferred.
