Position Summary:

The Office of Strategic Consulting partners with the campus community to enhance organizational effectiveness. Our team works with administrative and academic units to support organizational change and promote leadership capacity.

We currently have 10 consultants, collectively working across four core service areas: strategic planning, process improvement, organizational design, and enhancing culture and climate. We are seeking one full time consultant; a successful applicant will have expertise in strategy development and implementation in the core service areas.

Consultants will report to the Associate Director of the Office of Strategic Consulting.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Required: A bachelor's degree in a field related to organizational effectiveness or a bachelor's degree in another field will be considered, if accompanied by practical experience in organizational effectiveness.

Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

- 7 years of experience in the field(s) of organizational effectiveness or related fields.
- 5 years of experience working as an internal or external consultant.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in strategy development as a consultant, working with clients to achieve results.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in consulting including developing effective scope and budget for consulting engagements, and managing the consultant/client relationship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a nonprofit, mission-driven environment and a master's degree are preferred.

- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with a variety of organizational stakeholders.
- Self-directed; ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
- Provides high quality consulting services.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations to groups.
- Ability to facilitate meetings of various types and with various audiences, including executives.
- Ability to bring an equity lens to all consulting engagements across campus.
