KCOM - Clinic LPN, CNA, or MA

A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) is seeking a clinic LPN, CNA, or MA. Applicants should have experience with medical records usage, phlebotomy skills, and be compassionate with excellent communication skills. The LPN, CNA, or MA must be able to work in a fast-paced, outpatient clinic environment with a patient first attitude. Salary will be based on experience and level of certification.

Job Requirements:

• Flexible and familiar with medical interoffice practices
• Must be able to work as clinic nurse rooming patients
• Taking vitals, documenting patient complaints, helping physicians with procedures
• Properly refilling medications as directed by the physician(s)
• Scheduling appointments, scheduling procedures at local and outside facilities
• Making specialty care referral appointments for patients
• Giving injections as ordered by the physician(s)
• Drawing labs ordered by the physician
• Any and all paperwork associated with this position
• Calling patients with results from testing/procedures which had been ordered/completed
• Able to help with scheduled and non-scheduled nurse visits
• Able to help other co-workers and fill in where needed
