Florida International University in Miami, Florida is seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the School of Integrated Science and Humanity in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education. Duties and responsibilities include the following: (1) Teaching general forensic science classes at the Undergraduate and Graduate level; (2) Teaching specialized forensic science classes at the Undergraduate and Graduate level; (3) Coordinating the forensic labs; (4) Serving as Director of the Professional Science Master’s in Forensic Science, which includes but is not limited to, recruiting students, evaluating applications, contacting with the program faculty, and assisting with general administration of the program; and (5) Serving as a Member of Department-wide and/or University-wide committees. 

Position requires a Master’s degree or higher in Biological Sciences and Biochemistry or a closely related field.
