Pace University invites nominations for and applications from individuals in assuming a leadership opportunity as the next Dean of the College of Health Professions. The Dean will strive to advance Pace’s mission of Opportunitas, ensure academic offerings remain competitive, and create an environment of inclusion that respects and leverages diverse perspectives and voices. Reporting directly to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean serves as the chief academic officer for the College of Health Professions at Pace University.

Under the Provost’s leadership, the Dean will provide academic vision and leadership to, and will work collaboratively with, the University’s faculty, students, staff, administration, and other schools/colleges, to develop and enhance undergraduate and graduate programs that meet the changing needs of organizations. The Dean is a key participant in external relations for the College and the University, including fundraising and alumni relations. The Dean is an advocate for the College within the University and among external constituents, including business partners, prospective students, and alumni.

Established in 2010, the College of Health Professions offers a broad range of programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels with the goal of continuing to create innovative and complex programs that reflect the changing landscape of the health care system. The College is currently comprised of several growing and important areas of study, which include Nursing, Physician Assistant, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Health Science, and Nutrition and Dietetics.

Frequent travel between the Westchester and New York City campuses will be required.
