The Department of Sociology program in the College of Sciences and Humanities are seeking applicants to be part of a pool of part-time adjunct faculty. The responsibility will include teaching a variety of undergraduate courses.

Description

Faculty may be needed to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, such as principles of sociology, family, gender and society, social interaction, globalization, and social problems both on campus or online during the spring and fall semesters. Applications will be held on file until September 18, 2021.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in sociology from an accredited institution.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated excellence in teaching sociology at the postsecondary level. Experience teaching online classes. Area of specialization (as evidenced by coursework or teaching experience) congruent with departmental course needs. Commitment to high quality teaching is essential.
