Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences (PHLS) of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 502159), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biological/medical sciences, virology or a related discipline. Outstanding and self-motivated candidates with a proven research track record are encouraged to apply. Experience in cell biology, immunology, animal handling, virology or microbial pathogens handling in BSL-2/3 level would be an advantage. The appointee will conduct independent and collaborative research on influenza and other emerging infectious viruses.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
