Brescia University, an Ursuline, Catholic institution, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Psychology beginning January 2021. Teaching responsibilities include a combination of four undergraduate and graduate classes per semester, in a combination of on-ground and online formats. Classes will include both upper and lower level psychology classes such as abnormal psychology, statistics, social psychology, and counseling psych, among other possibilities. Additional responsibilities include advising, university and community service.
Ph.D. or Psy.D. by the time of appointment is preferred.
Ideal candidates will provide evidence of teaching effectiveness and an interest in innovative teaching methods, including active learning.
