Our lab studies tumor-stromal interactions that support tumor progression and metastatic dissemination. Specifically, we focus on the interplay between regulatory T cells and other components of the tumor microenvironment (Bos, JEM, 2013) in murine mouse models of breast cancer. We are looking for a highly motivated student/technician to share our ongoing research efforts, and that can perform the following tasks:

-Mouse colony management: ear tagging, tail clipping, setting up matings, genotyping, animal monitoring.
-Monitor mouse tumor development by caliper measurements and bioluminescence imaging.
-Maintain accurate records of animal breeding, health and housing.
-Maintain/reorder research supplies.
-Maintain lab inventories and general organization.
-Collaborate, in ongoing research experiments (animal sample collection, histology sample preparation and processing, mouse live imaging, tumor measuring).
-Excellent organizational skills, especially time management and record keeping.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

-Previous experience with animal husbandry/colony management/genotyping experience.
-Previous hands-on experience with cancer mouse models.
