Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref. 502209) (to commence from October 15, 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should have a Master’s degree with extensive experience developing and delivering leadership education and skill development with diverse youth populations (e.g. secondary school and university age students). Preference will be given to those with expertise in designing and evaluating curriculum with innovative hybrid (on-line and face-to-face) teaching and learning at the undergraduate level.
The appointee will be responsible for contributing to teaching and curriculum administration primarily at the undergraduate level. He/She will design and implement a study to evaluate the student outcomes of different leadership curricula; including process and outcome data analysis, preparation of manuscripts for conference and peer review journal submission.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
