Lecturer of Software Engineering

Department of Software Engineering and Game Development

 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Software Engineering faculty position in the Department of Software Engineering and Game Development beginning January 2021.

 

The primary responsibilities for the position include teaching and service work with an emphasis on enhancing the teaching mission of the Department.

 

The appointment is for 9 months and also includes the possibility of teaching in summer. The teaching duties will primarily include teaching the first year programming courses. Courses are taught primarily on the Marietta campus of Kennesaw State University and are offered during daytime and evening hours. Sometimes, these courses may need to be taught on the Kennesaw campus. Faculty are expected to teach in a variety of instructional modalities, including face-to- face, hybrid, and online.

 

A Master’s degree in Computing or a closely related field, or its foreign equivalent, is required.

 

An earned doctoral degree in Computing or closely related field, or its foreign equivalent, is preferred.
