Autumn Quarter, 9/28/20 - 12/12/20, Meets every other Saturdays (Last two Saturday classes are back-to-back) 10/3, 10/17, 10/31, 11/14, 12/5, 12/12, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Online

Meets Online Every Thursday Evenings 10/8/20 - 12/10/20 from 7:00pm -9:00pm

The course provides students with theory-based knowledge of managerial and organizational processes from a behavioral point of view, along with the necessary tools to enable you to design those processes prudently and optimize their uses. The student will develop leadership skills that promote, in themselves and others, ethically and socially responsible behavior as the student engage others in areas such as motivation, job satisfaction, commitment, positive team dynamics, effective negotiation, and cross-cultural understanding. The student will emerge from the course with a solid understanding of organization structure and the key principles of organizational design, as well as gain not just theoretical approaches to organizational change, but practical methods useful for building momentum around the need for change and widespread acceptance of change objectives.

Qualifications:

- Ph.D. degree in Organizational Behavior, Management, or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR

- A Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior, Management, or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
