Position: Assistant Professor of Nursing

Effective Date: August 17, 2021 (Fall Semester)

Salary Range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Required Qualifications:
  • Earned doctorate in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1, 2021
  • Demonstrated potential for teaching at the college level
  • Demonstrated potential for research, scholarly and creative activities
  • Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing and eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of California
  • Demonstrated effectiveness/excellence in teaching at the college level
  • Demonstrated record of research, scholarly and creative activities
  • Eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of California
  • National certification in an advanced Practice nursing specialization
  • Clinical specialization and experience in psych/mental health, or medical surgical nursing, or family health nursing, nursing administration, or public health or epidemiology
  • Work experience in the clinical setting within the past 5 years
