Position: Assistant Professor of Nursing

Required Qualifications:
- Earned doctorate in Nursing or a related field from an
accredited institution. Degree at time of application or official
notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1,
2021
- Demonstrated potential for teaching at the college
level
- Demonstrated potential for research, scholarly and creative
activities
- Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse
student population
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Nursing and eligible for licensure as a
registered nurse in the State of California
- Demonstrated effectiveness/excellence in teaching at the
college level
- Demonstrated record of research, scholarly and creative
activities
- Eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of
California
- National certification in an advanced Practice nursing
specialization
- Clinical specialization and experience in psych/mental health,
or medical surgical nursing, or family health nursing, nursing
administration, or public health or epidemiology
- Work experience in the clinical setting within the past 5
years
