Job Title Assistant Professor in Finance Rank Assistant Professor Tenure Information Tenure Track Job Description

The Department of Finance in the School of Business at Providence College is seeking a full‐time, tenure‐ track faculty in the areas of business analytics and operations management at the assistant professor rank commencing August 1, 2021.

As our student body grows increasingly diverse, experience and commitment to teaching and mentoring students from a range of economic, social, and cultural backgrounds is preferred.

Essential Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business analysis, analytical decision making, and operations management. Candidates with an inclination towards data analytics are highly encouraged to apply to have a comprehensive view/perspective for our future development.

Education and Experience Required

A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in statistics, business/data analytics, operations management, and operations research or a closely related field, preferably from an AACSB‐accredited institution, is required. ABD’s with anticipated completion at the time of appointment will also be considered.
