ADJUNCT FACULTY- Continuing Education Art/Fiber Arts Instructor
Continuing Education courses are short, focused courses offered for personal growth and enrichment. Courses are non-credit, not graded and geared toward helping adults explore a passion, develop a skill, or learn something new. We are seeking art instructors for online adult enrichment courses. These categories include, jewlery making, knitting, sewing, and other unique art course topics.
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Applicants will need to submit a CE new course proposal for any course topics they are interested in teaching. We are currently looking for courses that can easily transition from face-to-face to online platforms. Topics needed are sewing, knitting, jewlery making, and other unique art courses. Experience teaching in various online platforms required.
