Florida International University invites applicants for a position as Assistant Professor of Finance (tenure track) in the Department of Finance, College of Business. The candidate is expected to teach and conduct research in all areas of finance. Minimum requirements include an earned doctorate in finance or economics, demonstrated capabilities of publishing research in academic and practitioner-oriented finance journals (including but not limited to the Financial Times journal list). Candidates with an Economics or business administration PhD must have significant coursework in finance. The applicant must also have the ability to teach finance in the graduate programs. The expected starting date is fall 2021.
