Assistant Athletic Trainer

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the overall administration of the athletic training program. Primary sport responsibility will be supervision and management of athletic training services for sporting teams. Responsibilities will include injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation; maintaining accurate medical records, practice and game/event coverage, including travel; pre-participation evaluations; coordinating medical insurance claims; and supervising student athletic trainers and volunteers. The selected candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with the head athletic trainer, team physicians, head/assistant coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, and administrators. Additional duties may be assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
