Position Summary:
The Department of Physics at Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor for the 2021-22 academic year, beginning in August 2021.

The department of physics at Susquehanna University is seeking an excellent teacher of physics with a demonstrated record of advising and mentoring undergraduate students in research. The successful candidate must be able to teach an introductory electrical engineering course, introductory physics courses along with various other upper-level courses currently taught within the physics department. The successful candidate is also expected to initiate and maintain a vigorous research program involving undergraduate students along with institutional service for the good of the university.


Required Qualifications:
Earned Ph.D. in experimental physics or engineering is required.


Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant post-doctoral research experience is preferred.
