Title Production Assistant/Dining Aide Floater Posting Number S00711JP Department Dining Service - Thorne Hall Job Summary
Under supervision of the Head Chef, Assistant Chef, Cold Food Production Coordinator, and Kitchen Steward, supports cold food production goals in both dining halls and includes daily food preparation, service and sanitation duties. May be assigned to culinary departments including cold foods, bake shop, and sanitation in both dining halls.

Education/Skills Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
Driver’s license preferred. Serve Safe certification required. Two years of institutional food service experience preferred. Demonstrated understanding of basic food preparation techniques and their application in catering and/or institutional settings.
Standard Work Days and Hours
Varying shifts including overtime, weekends, holidays and during weather emergencies. Required to work for major college events and weekends such as Parent’s Weekend, Commencement and Reunions.
