Position Summary:

This position provides support to educational program delivery for educators affiliated with St Croix County and Area 5, as well as administrative support to the St. Croix County office team and Area 5 Extension Director.

Under the direction of educational staff and Area Extension Director, assists individuals and families engaged in various outreach programs. Provides general support for outreach programs that benefit of the community. Works with educators to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services for diverse audiences. The intent of the position is to act as a magnifier or multiplier of Extension educational programs in service of residents in St. Croix County. This position will also serve as the public face of Extension assisting the public via in-person walk-ins, phone calls, social media, etc. as well as manage the every day functions of the St. Croix office.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelors degree required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required:
1. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional work environments;
2. Ability to effectively work with people from different cultural backgrounds, including those associated with race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, and other aspects of human diversity
3 .Experience managing multiple tasks, timelines, and schedules while maintaining high quality work
4. Experience leading, coordinating, managing, or administering programs or projects

Preferred:
1. Experience with community-based outreach and education
2. Experience with project management
3. Experience developing partnerships with other agencies, community-based services, or organizations;
4. Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of methods and technology
5. Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision

Additional Information:

The home office for this position will reside at the UW Extension St. Croix County office located in Baldwin, WI.
