Job Description:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Screening of all individuals reporting to the campus by monitoring temperature and observation of other symptoms. A non-contact thermometer will be used to screen all employees, contractors, visitors and drivers to ensure compliance with College, Commonwealth and CDC regulations and requirements.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

  1. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as provided, such as face shield, mask, gloves and/or a Tyvek suit (if requested).
  2. Use a college issued non-contact thermometer to read the temperature of individuals arriving on site, using appropriate sanitation practices.
  3. Perform temperature recheck if the initial reading is higher than maximum allowable for entry.
  4. Instruct individuals to exit the site if subsequent reading remains in excess of maximum allowed.
  5. Provide written instructions to a denied individual regarding appropriate notification of student's instructor or employee's supervisor.
  6. Contact Campus Police should a dispute arise following denial of campus access.



Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School diploma/GED.
  2. Great verbal communication skills.
  3. Must be punctual and reliable with attendance.
  4. Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.
  5. Excellent customer service skills when communicating with diverse populations.
  6. Able to follow directions and procedures.



Additional Information:

COMPENSATION : $18.00 per hour, up to 16 hours per week. Part-time, non-benefited. Non-unit position.
