Working Title: Title IX Coordinator Official Title: Administrative Program Specialist Employment Class: Non-instructional Academic Staff FTE: 1.0 Compensation: Minimum Salary is $55,000, commensurate with experience and education FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: Annual, Fixed-term Terminal Position Summary: University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) seeks a dynamic candidate to serve as the Title IX Coordinator. Functioning as an oversight and monitoring role, this position serves to ensure institutional compliance through policy research, development, and management of an array of applicable legal, regulatory, and accreditation-related obligations including federal and state discrimination mandates and sexual harassment laws. Oversees all Title IX complaints in accordance with Title IX regulations. Identifies and addresses any systemic problems relating to complaints, provides campus training regarding Title IX and works with other departments to ensure Title IX policies are communicated to all constituencies. Collaborates with stakeholders across the University offices to ensure institutional compliance. The duties of the Title IX Coordinator will be guided by the principles of trauma-informed care. The Title IX Coordinator will also coordinate the university Clery Compliance Program with multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities

25% - Coordinates the UW Oshkosh Clery Act Compliance Program and develops, implements, maintains and regularly reviews policies and procedures to facilitate basic institutional compliance with the Clery Act, HEA fire safety requirements, and the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act.

20% - Coordinates operational activities for investigation of Title IX matters

20% - Provides consultation for resolution of Title IX policy violations that involve students, employees, visitors, or guests of the institution

15% - Develops and implements strategies and audits processes to comply with Title IX policies and procedures

10% - Provides guidance and oversight to university personnel on Title IX compliance, policies, and procedures

5% - Serves as a subject matter expert for Title IX affiliated matters for internal and external stakeholders

5% - Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required: • Bachelor's degree
• At least four years of related work experience (this may include but is not limited to Title IX, Clery, or other program coordination/management).
• Demonstrated understanding of Title IX and new regulations, the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2012 (VAWA), the Clery Act, and other relevant statutes and guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to work and interact respectfully with people from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and racial/ethnic backgrounds Preferred: • Master's degree or JD
• Previous experience as a Deputy Title IX or Title IX Coordinator
• Previous experience with Clery reporting
• Experience with one or more case management databases such as Maxient
• Demonstrated ability to develop and present educational programs, trainings, and/or workshops To Apply:
