Research Software Developer

Location: Moscow

Pay Range: $65,000 per year or higher depending on education and experience

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Position Summary:
Provide technical support for research software projects; including software development, training, documentation, and application life-cycle management. This position reports to the director of the Center for Secure and Dependable Systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Masters degree in Computer science with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or two years of professional programming experience.
• Experience writing technical documents, including having at least one conference or journal publication.
• 2 years work experience developing and/or analyzing complex software applications.
• Experience working with application development technologies, including client-side and server-side programming, networking and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 4+ years work experience managing team(s) of programmers or students.
• Team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with faculty, staff, and students in an academic setting.
