About the Opportunity:
The School of Nursing in the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University is committed to co-creating an environment conducive to incubating innovative ideas and strategies aimed at creating a more dignified patient-family-centered healthcare system. The wide range of programs offered by the School of Nursing from baccalaureate through DNP and PhD degrees highlights the responsiveness of the School to the healthcare needs of individuals and communities in the state, nation, and globally. Responsibilities:
The Program Manager in the School of Nursing Clinical Placement Office will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the clinical operations of the School with the placement of nursing students for clinical and practicum educational experiences in both the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs. Key responsibilities include clinical placement database administration and management, creation and maintenance of a comprehensive clinical course communications infrastructure, and coordination of preceptor development functions. This position will serve as the main contact within and outside the School for the nursing clinical placement office and will require operation at several different levels in order to establish and maintain smooth program and departmental operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with experience in healthcare-related field preferred or equivalent education and experience that includes 2-3 years prior administrative experience in nursing education or health care agency. Must demonstrate advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Experience and exposure to multiple applications including, but not limited to, databases and other computer systems strongly desired. Experience with E-Value system a plus. Should possess excellent communications skills, including verbal and written with editing experience. Must demonstrate well-developed skills related to organizing, prioritizing, and delegating as appropriate. Must possess exemplary customer service orientation with both internal and external customers. Due to the varying levels at which this role must operate, self-direction, flexibility, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage several initiatives and tasks simultaneously are critical for success. Ability and willingness to travel between Burlington site and Boston campus.
