Department of Philosophy, CFS-Professorial Faculty Member
The Department of Philosophy at Brigham Young University announces a search for a candidate to fill a CFS-track (analogous to tenure-track) opening, which may be filled by a visiting faculty member. The AOS is open. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Philosophy and will:
- Teach six courses per year, including lower-division offerings that satisfy the university's general education requirements, service courses unique to the Philosophy major, and courses in the candidate's area of specialization.
- Maintain a robust research agenda which should issue in regular publications in respected venues.
- Lend service to the department, college, and university, and contribute actively to the life of the department.
