Pennsylvania College of Technology is currently seeking Assistant Deans for the following disciplines in the School of Engineering Technology:

  • Materials Science & Engineering Technologies
  • Construction & Architectural Technologies
  • Diesel Technology & Natural Resources

 The individuals will be responsible for daily operation, organization, administration, general effectiveness, and supervision of disciplines you are applying for, including but not limited to future program planning, development, and accreditation processes.  Positions will start January 4, 2021.

Minimum Education and Experience include, but not limited to:

  •  Master’s degree in subject appropriate to the division’s disciplines
  • Three (3) years teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
  • Experience with curriculum development.
  • Knowledge of and participation in external accreditation processes.
  • Experience with course level, program level, and institution-wide assessment practices.

Minimum Abilities’ and skills include:

  •  Developed supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement teaching strategies that meet the educational needs of a diverse student body.
  • Sensitivity to expectations of students, faculty, staff, and advisory committee members.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Commitment to and knowledge of vocational and technical education.
