Requires an MD degree or foreign equivalent with ECFMG certification. Candidate must have successfully completed 60 months of training (including 36 months in internal medicine and 24 months in nephrology, or such lesser period of time required to complete residency and fellowship training in internal medicine and nephrology from an ACGME accredited program), must be eligible for Georgia medical license, and be board certified or board eligible in nephrology. Will serve as a nephrologist for the Department of Medicine -Nephrology, provide care to our adult patient population, participate in the teaching activities of the department for medical students, residents, and fellows and engage in clinical or quality-related research.
