The Sawyer Business School of Suffolk University invites applications for a full-time tenure track position in the Strategy and International Business Department as Assistant Professor beginning in the Fall 2021.
Suffolk University is a private institution of more than 7,500 students located in historic Beacon Hill, the heart of downtown Boston with easy access to the business/financial district. The Sawyer Business School, one of the three units of the university, has a global focus as part of its mission and students from around the world make up its more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Many of our over 100 faculty members are engaged in research with an international focus. The School offers a Global Business Program at the undergraduate level, an MBA with International Business specialization, and has required international business courses in other programs such as the Executive MBA. Our programs emphasize experiential learning to foster classroom-industry collaboration and help students prepare for their future careers. Job Description : We are looking for candidates who can maintain a stream of quality research and deliver high quality courses in both international business and strategy at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The person we hire will have a completed doctoral degree in strategy/ international business by August 2021. Demonstrated teaching excellence, refereed publication(s), and relevant business or professional experience will enhance the candidacy.
