Job Summary
Coordinates and/or directs all aspects of academic related program(s) and service(s).
Essential Functions
Plans activities to recruit and retain students to participate in the programs.
Assists the program coordinators or leaders with a variety of high-level administrative/professional program support responsibilities. Serves as the primary contact with students interviewing for positions. Provides hiring and onboarding administration as well as entering payroll corrections and removing students from the program when they leave. May also assist with the security clearance process.
Coordinates program/services activities to ensure relevant guidelines, specifications, policy and/or procedures are enforced and followed by participants and administrators. Program requires students have a level of training on safety and security policies as well as general Auburn policies.
Provides information to and facilitates communication between administrators, faculty, staff, and students concerning program/services. Position will serve as the point of contact for students, faculty advisor and sponsor representatives and includes monthly reporting of student activities.
Monitors budget and grant funding and ensures expenditures are within specifications and in line with spending projections; may research, write, submit, and/or administer grants and proposals for submission. Responsible for tracking payroll and cumulative salary expenditures for the life of the projects.
Prepares, reviews, and edits an assortment of communications through various media outlets.
Maintains relevant spreadsheets to ensure accurate and accessible records.
May require some travel.
