Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Project Manager (in the grade of Research Officer/Assistant Research Officer) in the Centre for Civil Society and Governance (Ref.: 502119), to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis, or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree preferably in social sciences, social work, or a related discipline with at least 8 years’ work experience in the social service sector. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; the ability to work independently and as a team; strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Those with project management experience in employment related service for persons with disabilities (e.g. career planning, job crafting, corporate engagement) are preferred. The appointee will work closely with project collaborators and other stakeholder; assist the Project Manager to conduct quality assurance for deliverables in social inclusion related projects; and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of the Centre. Those with 10 years of relevant managerial and supervisory experience may be considered for the post of Research Officer.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
