Summary

The NCI-designated Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center, and the Department of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, are seeking a full time radiologist with breast imaging fellowship training and ABR certification at the assistant/associate professor level. Our breast imaging team enjoys a collaborative, friendly and supportive relationship with our Breast Center and Cancer Center colleagues. The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of clinical excellence and research experience. Work will be performed in Baylor’s Faculty Group Practice and also in the Harris Health System. Our staff of 7 breast imagers interprets approximately 60,000 exams/procedures per year. The state-of-the-art sites are ACR Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence and are equipped with tomosynthesis mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and image-guided interventional equipment. We also champion a same day breast work-up and biopsy program, where women undergoing screening mammography have additional imaging and biopsies on the same day. We have a competitive breast fellowship and large diagnostic radiology residency program.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicant must have or be eligible for a Texas medical license. Academic rank, compensation, and tenure will depend on qualifications and experience.
