During the summer 2020 semester, the Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity ( SAEO ) office implemented a new database for managing student records and accommodation requests. During the 2020-2021 academic year, we will be transferring confidential health and accommodation information over for 4,000+ student profiles. SAEO is looking for a Database Support Staff who can dedicate 10-12 hours per week to assist our team in this data transfer project.

Required Qualifications

The individual who fills this position will be required to assist with the following:

•Maintain strict confidentiality, as you will be working with sensitive medical, mental health, educational, and accommodation records.
•Transfer student profiles and records from our old database to our new system.
•Regularly check in with SAEO staff to ensure accurate coding of medical, mental health, and accommodation information.

Preferred Qualifications

•Strong attention to detail
•Ability to independently oversee a project with minimal oversight.
•Strong computer skills (familiarity with data management systems a plus)
•Interest and coursework in the field of medicine, counseling/psychology, and/or education.
