About the Opportunity:
Experimental Postdoctoral associate position in the Nanoscale Biophysics Laboratory at Northeastern University.
Responsibilities:
The postdoctoral associate will participate in a collaborative DARPA project and will work on fabricating devices that contain micropores using laser technology that has been developed in our lab. The successful applicant will manage our group-specific tasks of the project by participating in regular meetings, reporting to the team, and delivering timely devices to the collaborating team. A minor role also includes training any interns, technicians, or graduate students to perform the tasks required. The applicant must have solid communication skills and high aptitude for documentation of data on laboratory notebooks and digital media.
Qualifications:
Must have a PhD and ample experience working with pore fabrication and computer control of hardware.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with nanopores and characterization via optical and electron-based imaging techniques (e.g., SEM).
