Position Summary:

 

Gettysburg College invites applications for a Tenure-Track Professor position for the Business, Organizations, and Management Major in the Department of Management to begin August 2021. Field of specialization is open, but it must complement the Critical Managerial Studies focus of the major (see https://www.gettysburg.edu/academic-programs/management/programs/business-organizations-management-major for details). Teaching responsibilities for this one position will include an introductory course in accounting (financial and managerial), and additional courses related to finance, investments, or other fields of business studies according to the candidate’s areas of expertise. The teaching load is 2-3. We are particularly interested in candidates who can integrate issues of diversity into upper-level courses.

 

Qualifications:

 

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. (or be ABD) in a field related to Management, Organization, and Business Studies. Candidates must be committed to interdisciplinary teaching in the liberal arts tradition, and demonstrate through their teaching and scholarship that they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our community.
