Job Summary
The Department of Biological Sciences is looking to hire a full-time (3 year limited term with the possibility of renewal based on need, performance and funding) Laboratory Technician responsible for the maintenance and performance of computational research related to the biological research program in Dr. Brian Counterman’s laboratory.
Essential Functions
The essential functions include but are not limited to: performing computational analyses for genomic analyses and produces reports as graphs and charts using python and R; maintaining computational resources of the Counterman laboratory; performing scheduled backups of research data; and submitting data to public and private repositories.
