About the Opportunity:
The web developer, university web strategy and solutions, plays an important role in developing websites and managing web services at Northeastern. They are a highly productive coder within the team's technology stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) and associated frameworks (primarily modern WordPress frameworks, Laravel, TailwindCSS, VueJS). The web developer brings well-formed opinions about how to deliver high-quality web properties and how to provide superior service to various clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Development
Service Management
- Manage the web service catalog and respond to tickets in a prompt and helpful manner.
- Manage enterprise platforms offered as services such as WP Engine, CampusPress, Netlify, Contentful, etc.
- Assist with new project intake and scope definition.
- Facilitate related web requests such as installing SSL certificates, DNS setup, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- Work closely with ITS communications to craft messaging around various web services.
