Email and Collaboration Systems Administrator 

The Department of Information Technology welcomes applications for the position of Email and Collaborations System Administrator. This position is responsible for the administration the Marist Email and Collaboration Systems and other applications used by the Marist College Community. This role is also responsible for providing education on applications and responding to, troubleshooting, and resolving all customer issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, and minimum of three years experience in Email or application administration, and customer support required.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide daily support of Email infrastructure
  • Provide daily support of applications
  • Provide daily Customer Support including Problem Determination
  • Provide email related support of end user devices including phones and tablets
  • Perform Administration Tasks related to Marist Email/Collaboration
  • Statistical Reporting, write and maintain Procedural Documentation
  • Monitor security and report potential or existing problems
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Any additional related computer skills such as applications, databases, networking, programming, scripting, are a plus.

The Email and Collaboration Systems Administrator is responsible for all aspects of Email and Collaboration at Marist College.  This includes user experience as well as email/collaboration infrastructure and email delivery.
