Assistant Professor Position in Information Systems

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for an 100% full-time Assistant Professor position in Information Systems within the Department of Business Administration. Chosen candidates will be expected to conduct research, teach, and perform service in information systems. Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in the areas of business analytics, artificial intelligence, and data-driven management. Candidates who can mentor students from underrepresented populations are strongly encouraged to apply. Salary is competitive and commensurate with rank and experience.

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the Ph.D. program, in addition to one or more of the above programs.

The faculty position is in the IS/OM/SCM area. The area comprises of scholars that do research and teach in Information Systems, Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. We are a research-active group of faculty with expertise in domains ranging from healthcare IT, technology & governance, new product development, eBusiness strategy, social media platforms, and business analytics. As part of the larger Department of Business Administration, with leading scholars in areas of Strategy and International Business, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior, we offer a uniquely hospitable environment for interdisciplinary work, as well as the opportunity to work with talented doctoral students. Ph.D. in Management Science and Systems, Business Analytics, Data-Driven Management or related field is required.
