Position Title: Assistant Professor of Elementary Education

 

Responsibilities: Northern State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Elementary Education. Responsibilities include teaching both face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses in a learner-centered environment, student teaching supervision, academic advisement, scholarly activity, and service to the university and community.

 

Qualifications: Applicants with an earned doctorate in Education, Elementary Education, or Educational Leadership are preferred; however, ABD’s who will complete their degree before the date of appointment will be considered. The candidate should be able to teach in the areas of literacy, diversity, and a broad spectrum of elementary education courses.
