Position Title: School of Health Sciences - Technical Assistant (PT)

Salary: $13.86 per hour

Qualifications:

Qualification: Associate Degree in Discipline
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Duties:

Assist the instructor(s) by setting-up and removing equipment/supplies and audiovisual materials needed for each lab session.

Assist in the supervision of students in the use and care of specialized laboratory equipment and supplies outside of the normally scheduled laboratory sessions.
Assures that students demonstrate proper, professional behavior while in the lab.

Organizes, cleans and stores equipment and maintains the laboratory facility.
Keeps inventory of the equipment and supplies in the laboratory and notifies the Program Coordinator of the need to order new supplies (especially oxygen).

Maintains and updates the handbook of hazardous materials (MSDS)used in the laboratory.
